Lucid
You're dreaming. Dreams get small details wrong. Notice them — before you wake up.
LUCID is a game about noticing.
Each night, you walk through a series of quiet, beautiful dreamscapes — dusk skies, lamplit streets, still water — heading for a glowing door. Most scenes hide exactly one thing that's wrong. A shadow leaning against the light. A clock running backward. Rain falling upward. A word on a sign that's different the second time you read it. Some scenes hide nothing at all.
It's spot-the-difference, except you don't get two pictures to compare — just the scene, and a feeling that something's off.
When something feels wrong, question it. Questioning uses real techniques that lucid dreamers actually practice: read text twice, check your own hands, doubt the clock. Catch a lie and you grow more lucid, gaining small powers over the dream. But here's the tension: every time you question something, you stir a little closer to waking. Question everything and the night ends almost before it begins. The skill isn't checking — it's knowing when not to.
Go deep enough and the dream starts fighting back. The lies get subtler. The numbers on screen stop being trustworthy. And one morning you'll wake up, read your dream journal... and something about the morning itself will feel wrong.
Each night takes a few minutes. Your dream journal remembers every kind of lie you've ever caught — how many of the fourteen can you find?
